8/23/24, I earned the PhD in Clinical Psychology by passing my dissertation  defense. Degree formally conferred in December, 2024. Completed concentration  in Existential-Humanistic Psychology. Winner of the Rollo May Scholarship.  Comprehensive exam passed “with distinction.” Winner of the Standout Student  Award for Scholarship, Leadership, Community Work.  Dissertation committee: Drs. Michael Sakuma, Kirk Schneider,  Scott Barry Kaufman. 

8/2024 PhD

Existential-Humanistic Institute (EHI) 
Completed foundational certification program and currently pursuing advanced  certification in a three-year experiential training process, to be completed May,  2025. This involves a didactic, experiential, consultation, and writing/scholarly  process. 

2022-Present

Somatic Experiencing International (SEI)
Completed beginning, intermediate, and advanced level training in Somatic  Experiencing (SE), a trauma-healing modality. This is a three-year experiential  training including didactic, experiential, consultation, and personal sessions with a  therapist as part of the certification process. Certificate awarded as an SEP in late  2024.

LK Counseling & Consulting—EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training
In March, 2022, I completed full EMDR Therapy Training by Lauren Day, an EMDRIA approved EMDR trainer and consultant, through LK Counseling & Consulting. This training involved didactic, experiential, and consultation.

Community Medical Services Operational Excellence Award. May, 2016.
This award was given to me and a colleague by Cenpatico Integrated Care for our  work managing operations/ quality assurance/ compliance of a large treatment clinic during my time at Community Medical Services. Cenpatico was our  Regional Behavioral Health Authority at the time. Specifically we streamlined  intake processes to improve access to care for clients, created efficient systems for  ongoing coordination of care with other agencies, and ensured high degree of  compliance with Cenpatico standards of care and documentation.

They take a depth, experiential, relational, and multi-cultural approach to interviewing leaders in the mental health treatment space about what these leaders consider to be “fully human,” what blocks us from our full humanness, and how we might work with what blocks us in order to help more of humanity reach their full potential.
